We offer an exclusive graphic textile made from reclaimed ocean plastic, as a part of our alliance with the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE.
SustainaTex Ocean contains SEAQUAL® YARN, which is made from traceable marine plastic and post-consumer waste, ultimately creating a sustainable branding graphic material with 100% recycled content.
We are doing our part to ensure our industries become more sustainable and our 180,000 sqft. corporate headquarters in Franklin Park, Illinois was planned with sustainability in mind.
CARBON NEUTRAL PLANT OPERATIONS
NORTH AMERICA & EUROPE
Together with ClimatePartner, we have defined, measured, and offset the carbon emissions related to our plant operations. This includes emissions from sources such as energy and heating, business travel, and employee commuting related to our operations.
At Moss, we focus first on in-house carbon reduction through efforts like purchasing only renewable energy for our electricity needs and providing company subsidies for electric vehicles. For the remaining emissions, we offset the unabated emissions through two carbon offset projects from the ClimatePartner portfolio. The project activities save around 432,100 tonnes of CO2 per year (in total) as the amount of electricity would otherwise have been generated using fossil fuel-based power plants.
We understand, this is just the beginning. Our corporate carbon footprint calculation shows us where we need to reduce our carbon emissions. We will diligently update it every year to monitor our progress and identify additional areas for improvement.

Our commitment to sustainability includes reducing our emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs), improving the efficiency of resources that we use, bringing to market new innovative products and services to improve the sustainability of our end markets, and minimizing the waste that is developed in day-to-day activities.
We have also joined the COP26 association and became a signatory to the net zero carbon initiative for the event industry.
