Fiat Chrysler Automobiles at CES - An Award-winning Exhibit Experience

The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.’s CES exhibit is a great example of the power of innovative design and meticulous execution for a remarkable branded event design. Awarded the ‘Best of CES’ by Exhibitor Magazine, this immersive exhibit brilliantly showcased the impact of creative event fabrication.

The trade show exhibition featured a remarkable fabric structure –  a large overhead rectangular canopy measuring 88’ X 68’ X 13. The canopy served as an eye-grabbing brand billboard, a versatile canvas for striking projections, and presented the Moss event fabrication team with an exciting challenge. 

Our task was to create a canopy with the structural integrity capable of supporting a projection dome and house internal lighting, all rigged from theatrical truss. The additional requirements for this branded exhibit included using a variety of printed sheer and opaque fabric panels on the structure with the capability to project images and internal glowing lights effects.

With an expert fabrication team up for any design challenge, we built the event’s structure using Construct 120® along with a careful selection of fabrics: Moss BarrierTex (fully opaque), Moss StretchTex (Semi-opaque), and see-through Sheer Stretch. The visual impact and branding of this exhibit was further enhanced with seamlessly integrated internal bracing, making the secure mounting of dimensional logos possible, resulting in a highly visible and heroic brand display for all attendees to see. 

Our expertise in fabricating custom event structures allowed us to help transform the exhibit into an immersive experience, and create a memorable branded experience that captured attention, engaged viewers, and left an everlasting impression.
