Moss takes care to ensure that our fabrics are safe for use in public spaces. Moss fabrics are certified to meet or exceed one or more of the following ratings:
NFPA 701 is the standard for most US states, cities, and venues. However, requirements for fire safety can vary from state to state, city to city, and even from venue to venue. Fabrics being used in California, for example, require special compliance according to California State Fire Marshal's Section 13115, Title 19. If you are unsure of your venue's requirements, venue staff should be able to advise you of their specific regulations. Your Account Team can recommend fabrics to meet those requirements. If needed, fabrics can also have additional testing or treatment so long as lead-times and budgets allow. The appropriate Fire Retardant Certificates are packed with every Moss product. |
Moss is proud to have received a BizBash West Event Style Award for the MTV VMA Awards stage set in the Best Staging and Set Design category. The set, constructed by Moss, was a massive, swooping, towering design inspired by the sleek midcentury modern architecture of Saarinen and Eames. It stretched 70 feet out into the theater seats, making it feel like the audience was practically onstage.
