Recognition for Excellence: Moss Receives International Awards

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) awarded Pink Powered by Moss an International Achievement Award for an outstanding specialty fabric project. Pink Powered by Moss won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the Fabric Art category for Fish fabricated for the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival.

Pink Powered by Moss created colorful, printed tensioned fabric Fish for the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival. Six 10 foot-long lantern Fish were suspended in trees at the festival in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The rotund bodies and graceful fins were designed to look like Chinatown Fish lanterns. The Fish were internally lit to glow at night during the festival, but the printed graphics also had to show the texture and bright colors of the Fish during the daytime.

Flying Colors, acquired by Moss November 10, was also awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award for graphic elements they designed, produced, and installed for Super Bowl XLIV and the Pro Bowl.

Spanning more than half a century, the IFAI International Achievement Awards is an annual world-class competition that recognizes companies for their innovations in design and/or technology in the specialty fabrics industry.
