Moss & Pink Powered by Moss Win International Awards

Moss Inc., Elk Grove Village, IL and Pink Powered by Moss, New York, NY were recognized with 2011 International Achievement Awards (IAA) for design excellence in specialty fabrics applications. The ceremony took place at the IFAI Expo Americas 2011 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland on October 25.

Moss received an Award of Excellence for its MTV Video Music Awards Stage Set. The stage set was recognized in the competition’s Interior Display Category category.  A massive, towering design inspired by sleek mid-century modern architecture, the large fabric "petals" stretched 70 feet out into the theatre seats, bringing the audience practically onstage.  The Moss canopies, created using a stark white fabric, became the canvas for state-of-the-art LED lights blasting during the show, changing for each performance and presenter.

Pink Powered by Moss received an Outstanding Achievement Award for its PowerStation trade show booth that debuted at The Special Event show in January 2011.  The PowerStation conveyed a sophisticated spatial design and clever approach to interior traffic flow. Enveloping exterior rings concealed exciting, innovative products within the spacious center.  A soaring arch attracted attendees’ attention from across the floor.
