Moss' Charlie Corsentino Honored with 2011 Hazel Hays Award

Moss is pleased to announce that Charlie Corsentino, Chairman, President and CEO of Moss has been honored as the 2011 recipient of the highly regarded Hazel Hays Award at the annual Exhibit Designers and Producers Association’s (EDPA) Annual Conference & Showcase December 1, 2011.  Charlie’s leadership, integrity, and accomplishments over his many years of working in the exhibit industry were recognized during the awards ceremony.  

Charlie Corsentino has been a key leader in the exhibit industry for twenty years, making significant contributions that have helped expand the market position to where it is today.  As President and CEO of Exhibitgroup/Giltspur for 10 years beginning in the early 1990’s, Charlie grew the company to the largest exhibit designer and producer in the world.  While at the company he opened several international markets, was one of the first to introduce experiential marketing (through the development of Elan, an experiential marketing agency) into the exhibit market, and drove the innovation of several game changing products.  Offerings such as EMAX, a foam core, no-tool wall system. and DEXZ, an aluminum based deck system, made significant contributions to the market. 

In 2006 Charlie was appointed to Executive Chairman, President and CEO of Moss, Inc., the leading supplier in tensioned fabric structures and Display Hardware for the industry.  During his time at Moss Charlie has continued his leadership role in the market with several key mergers, the development of the popular, award winning EZ Fabric Wall System and EZ Interactive Wall, and his steadfast management through one of the toughest economic periods of our lifetime. 

The Hazel Hays Award recognizes significant contributions to the knowledge and literature of the exhibit industry; the design or invention of material, equipment-process or technical services within the exhibit industry; or influenced the trade show industry. The Hazel Hays Award is awarded every year at EDPA’s Annual Conference & Showcase.
