THE CHALLENGE
To create a sophisticated shopping environment for high-end department store shoppers that reflects the sophisticated products available.
THE SOLUTION
The design firm Space Planning International designed a glass and steel bridge in the main atrium of La Dehesa Falabella store spanning across the escalators. Moss created a stretch fabric tunnel attached to and arching over the bridge, creating an intimate walkway for shoppers. Space Planning International also designed oversized lampshades to complement the volume of the cosmetic islands and two sizes of column covers to hide structural columns. Flute Shaped Column Covers add elegance to the electronics department.
