3D Projection Mapping & Tension Fabric: Immersive Sensory Experiences

3D Projection Mapping & Tension Fabric: Immersive Sensory Experiences

Projection Mapping gives the event industry an incredible ability to transform any surface into a dynamic, living canvas. By manipulating projected images to match multifaceted or variably shaped projection areas, specialized software brings you and your audience a new way to experience brands and events.

Over the last few years, projection mapping has quickly become the standard. Moss has been a proud partner at the forefront of the trend - by providing a limitless solution for projection, we help transform your event experience into another world!

Our Signature Moss Knit fabric has a matte finish, high gain factor, stretch factor to prevent wrinkling or bowing, and it’s both durable and stain resistant. Our frame structures are highly versatile, from custom projects to our vast array of rental solutions

Together, Moss frame and fabric are only limited by your imagination when it comes to projection mapping. Here’s a look at some of our previous client collaborations.

Custom Solution Utilizing a 3D Surface: PSCNA at InfoComm

This structure is an upside down Pyramid made from 41 Hidden Moss Groove Cubes. When not projected on, the structure is understated with simple, clean lines.  But when the projection is added, each surface comes alive and transforms into a dynamic experience.

Custom Solution Utilizing Layering Projection: Exhibitor Awards 2014 Stage

This stage set utilizes our Moss Groove System with a design of staggered panels of various sizes and hung at different depths. This stage set could also be recreated with our rental hanging panels.

Custom Solution for Event During the New York Auto Show

This is an exciting use of projection mapping utilizing a custom "quarter dome" solution and the backdrop of an aircraft carrier deck and tower!

Here is one of our favorite uses of Projection Mapping that also showcases the versatility of fabric and the importance of the backdrop. Not only is the vehicle projected upon to make it move and morph its shape, but the stage set completes the experience turning it into a hyperdynamic scene.
